Let’s just get this over with right away- I love these shoes… and I’m not saying that because I got a pair for free. I have never even CONSIDERED trying Under Armour shoes. I wear their athletic gear like a boss when I’m running, but have never looked twice at their footwear. I was excited to test them out because, why not? I am dedicated to two other running shoe brands, with only one brand being tried and true for me- the other has been hit or miss.
Right away, the first thing that I noticed about these shoes was how lightweight they were. They only weigh 9.6 oz! I love all of the holes in the shoe, making them extremely breathable. In this Florida heat? Breathability is key for me.
They sent me the right color, too.
These shoes can absolutely go the distance, so far I’ve run a few 5Ks, 2 10Ks, and a half marathon in them and they have held up really well. They provide just the right amount of cushioning under my feet and for those that need a neutral shoe? These are for you.
Y’all. These are smart shoes. You heard me. They connect to Under Armour apps such as MapMyRun and will tell you a number of details including the day you synced the shoes, how many steps you’ve taken in the shoes, and how many miles you have traveled in them. Once you go for a run in the shoes, you can check in the app to get more in depth information about your run such as your cadence, stride, pace, elevation, and calories. I have never even thought to take a look at my cadence, but this app has made me more interested in it.
These shoes are honestly my new best friends and when the app tells me that they have run their course, I am definitely going to be looking for a new pair of these. Shout out to BibRave and Under Armour for giving me the opportunity to try these out.
