Disclaimer: I received a free copy from Book Look Bloggers to review. All opinions are my own.
I’ve said over and over to myself that I want to get into my bible more.
I had two problems-
1. I didn’t know where to start- do I read from Genesis all the way through?
2. How much do I read? How little? For how long?
I wanted a devotional that would help guide me through the bible and give me questions to think about that would help me apply what I was reading to my daily life.
This is a 365-day devotional that breaks the bible up into more manageable parts. I specifically like the reading plans given in the back to focus on specific aspects in life. These include:
- 30 Stories of Love and Friendship
- 30 Days for New Christians Reading Plan
- 30 Themes in Psalms and more
I love that I can read the bible verses and then click through (I have the eBook) to go to the devotional for the day based on those verses. I can highlight and take notes in my eReader to go back to as a reference.
I enjoy reading this at night before I go to bed. It gives me a way to settle down and get close to God before I go to bed for the night.
I enjoy this bible and I think anyone looking for a devotional will too.
